Training for Munda Biddi '18

Published Sunday, 29th July 2018

In October 2018 a small team of wounded and damaged ex-service men will set out to cycle unsupported from...

Ocean to Ocean....

along the 1,070km ancient and wild Munda Biddi trail that runs from Mundaring, near Perth Western Australia to Albany on the South Coast, in under 14 days.

The name ‘Munda Biddi’ means path through the forest in the Noongar Aboriginal language.

It is the longest track of its kind in the world!

In preparation for this endeavour a team of 12 cyclists have undertaken some tough training on the winding tracks, hills and valleys of the Pyrenees.

The mountains provided them with some challenging conditions, torrential rain and temperatures ranging from 12ºC to 33ºC, but their determination and spirit remained high throughout!

This is just the start of their training for this epic adventure and we look forward to sharing the journey with you all!
