The team have arrived at Everest Base Camp!

They left Gorak Shep a little after 9am (GMT+5.45hrs) and slowly made their way through the beautiful landscape catching glimpses of Everest and the Khumbu Ice Fall every so often.

As they arrived at Base Camp (5364m) the sun was shining, but within a short time the clouds closed in, snow began to fall and a biting wind chilled the bones.

The team settled in to their new ‘home’ and said goodbye to the incredible team of Porters that had carried their bags to Base Camp.
