The Raid 17 Team: Day 2

The team set off in two groups to give Chris a head start on his hand-bike.

The weather was kinder with sunshine and showers and they enjoyed some stunning views along the way.

The team covered a modest 80km and climbed 4,106ft but hit the first severe, although relatively short climb which gave them a little taste of what to expect in the coming days!

They arrived at the final destination of the day in good time and enjoyed some much needed recovery time to prepare them for forthcoming tough and challenging climbs.
