Team MB'18: Days 5 & 6

Days 5 & 6 proved to be very long and challenging days for Team MB'18.

Cycling for more than 10 hours a day in ever-changing conditions, and at times, completely soaked through from heavy rain fall, their determination to complete their journey remains unshakeable.

Team Leader Jonathan Thomson said:

"The going continues to be easy, hard, awful, and some, really awful. Last night was a good example with the dark green painted hut hidden away in what felt like a tropical rain forest, complete with attendant rain and up an apparently endless and soggy track. We arrived at near 6.00pm, as dusk was closing in and were very pleased to see it."

The huge forests feel very isolated, and the team have seen more kangaroos than people! They hope to cross the half-way point tomorrow!
