Team Denali Update - Day 7:

Published Monday, 11th June 2018

The team have had a tough day today due to treacherous weather conditions. They left Camp 3 at 11,200ft earlier to pick up the cache they left near Kahiltna Pass.

They have been moving slowly, continuously roped-up and wearing snow-shoes, in near white-out conditions.

Jonnie stayed behind to take a rest day at camp. He has been feeling the effects of altitude and had a bit of a rough night last night.

Everyone else is feeling ok, and morale is good!

The team are now making their way slowly back to the camp at the base of Motorcycle Hill where they will spend a second night.

Weather permitting, they will haul loads around 'Windy Corner' (13,300ft) tomorrow and hopefully stay on schedule.
