Team Denali: Update - Day 13

Published Monday, 18th June 2018

The team had a day of storms as expected, and a low 'eye-of-the-hurricane' kind of storm has kept them in their tents, which is frustrating but they all remain in high spirits!

Strong winds are kicking up again with gusts of up to 100 kmph (60 mph) forecast and they are expecting heavy snow, upwards of a foot, to fall.

The team are now having to practice one of the hardest skills in mountaineering - patience!

The weather will improve, but it’s difficult knowing that the timing is indeterminate and the team have a finite amount of supplies.. we can only hope it improves sooner rather than later!
