Team Denali: Thanks and Gratitude..

Published Thursday, 5th July 2018

Ten days ago Team Denali completed their epic 3-week battle to reach the summit of the World's tallest land-based mountain, and the highest peak in North America!

Since arriving safely home their thoughts have turned to all those who helped make this project a reality.

65 Degrees North Founder and Expedition Lead Rich said:

"We have so many people to thank for enabling us to offer our wounded, injured and sick service-men and women the opportunity to participate in our challenges, aiming to aid and enhance their recovery and rehabilitation through adventure.

Without the continued support, guidance, expert advice and funding from Key Partners, Sponsors, Patrons and Support Team our projects simply would not happen!"

Our huge thanks and gratitude go to:

Up and Under, Marmot Mountain Europe, Enigma Alliance and Branding Science for ensuring the team had the best available clothing, kit and equipment to keep them warm, comfortable and safe throughout the expedition.

Inmarsat and Mobile Solar Chargers Ltd for enabling us to share this journey with the world via social media, and connect us with the support team and family throughout, enhancing our safety and mental-wellbeing.

Swansea University and USW Cardiff - University of South Wales for allowing us to access a team of experts whenever required.

Mike and Mandy at Bellevue Alpine Lodge for opening their home and hearts, and providing an incredible space and environment for the team to train for these extreme challenges.

Special thanks also to Dave Pritt and the team at Adventure Peaks, and all the team at Mountain Trip for their attention to detail and a successful expedition!
