After accepting he needed support Jonnie was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety having been exposed to multiple traumatic incidents whilst in Afghanistan.
Jonnie is looking forward to being part of a team again, and highlighting the impact invisible disability can have, and how he has overcome challenges since diagnosis:
"For me this challenge will offer something completely new and exciting. It's going to be tough and will draw on each our strengths to succeed but the 65DN team is positive and driven and in turn reminds me to remain positive and driven in my own life."
