Knots, Ropes and Navigation Skills....

Despite some stormy weather and rough seas the team are relishing their adventure aboard the Leader. Knots, ropes and navigation training has been provided by the crew and given the team the opportunity to increase their skills. They have enjoyed some spectacular scenery and felt the full power of the wind.

65 Degrees North Patron and team member Jonathan Thomson said: "With four sails up Leader looked a fine sight. We only realised the true strength of the wind when we turned across it to take down the sails before hopping over the bar on the falling tide." Tonight the team are experiencing some night-saiing and heading towards Dartmouth.
