JOGLE: The World Record Attempt Begins...

Published Saturday, 6th July 2019

Ex-Rifles soldier and double amputee, Michael Swain MBE, officially set off for his World Record attempt at 06:09:30 this morning!

65 Degrees North Patron, Jonathan Thomson, who was at the start line to wish Michael and his support crew the very best of luck for this epic challenge said:

" it was cold and windy at the start with speckles of rain coming in from the West. Rabbits nibbled at the grass and out at sea the white topped waves danced and a large ship slid by on the horizon. At the very spot where this epic ride starts, Michael and his two escorts made ready and in a flash of luminescent yellow were off down the road and on their way.."
