65 Degrees North has appointed Aston Woodward as Chair for the organisation.

As a military veteran, Aston has a true understanding of the resilience and bravery needed to survive war and conflict.

“I am delighted to take on the responsibility of Chair for this special veteran charity.

Having served in Afghanistan I have witnessed first-hand the sacrifices made by those who serve. 65DN provides a tried and tested rehabilitation process by introducing adventure into the lives of our beneficiaries who are struggling. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing first-hand the progress a person can make and the positive change of direction 65DN can deliver to their lives.

My focus will be to serve as many beneficiaries as we can, ensuring we reach out to those in need of support whilst continuing to push a challenging and exciting programme of expeditions.”

We here at 65DN are excited for the future ahead of us with Aston as Chair and we look forward to supporting many more beneficiaries through our forthcoming expeditions.

We would also like to thank Jonathan Ball for his tenure as Chair and for everything he has contributed to the 65DN organisation.
