2016: Another Immense Year!

Published Saturday, 31st December 2016

2016 has been another immense year filled with so many special moments and memories.

The highs and lows, tears and laughter, hard work, training and planning were all worth it when 'Team Kili' stood on the summit of Kilimanjaro, the World's highest free-standing mountain.

It was also a sad year as we lost our dear friend and patron Al Olding, leaving a huge hole in our lives but a determination to continue to make him proud!

The team have been honoured to meet some amazing people and humbled by the generosity of all who have given their time, advice and expertise.

We would like to thank you for all your messages of support, and the donations for our 'Charity of Choice' are much appreciated!

Special thanks to all our sponsors and supporters for helping make it all happen!

We now look forward to an exciting 2017 and continuing to share every step of our journey as the team travel towards the demanding challenge of climbing Antarctica's highest mountain unsupported, and our new project Raid 17, an 800km coast-to-coast bike ride along some of the toughest roads in the Pyrenees, which will be a true demonstration of ‘Rehabilitation Through Adventure’.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
