Danny and Al's journey to the 'Roof of the Americas' has ended at 6400m (20,997ft)

They are understandably disappointed but the altitude has beaten them both...

The brutal day yesterday has left them exhausted and physically unable to climb any higher. They are now heading back down towards Camp Colera to be reunited with Jason.

They have taken any unnecessary weight from Rich and Brendan who are now continuing their punishing ascent to the summit with the flag!

We shall continue to keep you all updated and would like to say a huge thank you for the comments and messages of support!
