#FollowTheFlag... Day 10

Beautiful blue skies and sunshine greeted the team on day 10 as they prepared to move to Camp Guanacos.

They had all had a relatively good sleep and were feeling strong and determined.

Rich handed the flag to Al, and after a hearty breakfast they packed their backpacks and once again made their way up the steep, snowy col.

The weather has been relatively kind to them but despite the sunshine, a steady bone-chilling wind meant the team were constantly taking layers on and off to regulate their body temperatures as they climbed higher.

They arrived at the camp in good time and without any issues. Everyone was in very high spirits and still feeling strong.

They celebrated with a warming cup of Birchall Tea before settling into their tents which will be 'home' for the next couple of days.

The team will spend some time resting and acclimatising at 5400m (17,700ft), which is slightly higher than Everest Base Camp, in preparation for their summit bid!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been following the team and all the incredible messages of support!

The team are undertaking this epic challenge to prove there is life beyond injury and hope to inspire and motivate others to take on their own challenge!
