World’s first unsupported crossing of the Greenland ice cap by an amputee

'What It Is All For....'

‘What It Is All For….’

With just a few hours to go until the start of the World First Record Attempt we would like to remind you what it is all for….

At the age of 21, Peter was injured whilst on patrol in Afghanistan and sustained devastating life changing injuries which left him needing complex surgery and rehabilitation after the amputation of his right leg.
He saw first-hand the incredible work of the medics who treated him immediately after and during his recovery process, which has been part of his desire to help others lead fulfilling lives.

The focus for this epic 600km trek across the Greenland ice cap has always been to inspire others and to give something back.

By donating to ‘Our Charity of Choice’ you will make a real difference to the lives of our wounded heroes.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to our fundraising page > http://www.bmycharity.com/65DegreesNorth and left messages of support for the team.

All money raised through this mission will go to Help for Heroes and will help fund vital support for veterans and serving personnel who have become wounded, sick or injured as a result of serving their country.
