World’s first unsupported crossing of the Greenland ice cap by an amputee

Training Hard..... 4 Weeks To Go!

‘Training Hard….. 4 Weeks To Go!’

There are less than 4 weeks to go until the team set off on the World First Record attempt!

Peter and the team are now stepping up their training to build strength and endurance, pulling their tyres for several hours a day and running with weights to prepare them for the 600km trek across the Greenland ice cap.

The breathtaking scenery and beautiful sunny weather make it hard to imagine temperatures of up to -37˚C and the expanse of sheer white that they will endure day after day.

If you see the team out and about please feel free to say hello and offer lots of encouragement!
