The Raid 17 Team: Day 1

The Raid 17 Team: Arriving in Toulouse

An excited Raid 17 team travelled from various locations all across the UK to arrive collectively at Toulouse airport along with all their bikes, kit and equipment. They then travelled from Toulouse to Hendaye where a beautiful sunset greeted them as they caught a glimpse of the beach which will be the starting point of their epic coast-to-coast challenge. A team briefing followed a hearty supper before they settled in for a much-needed night’s sleep ahead of the huge day that awaited them.

A very big thank you to everyone supporting the team and for all the good luck messages! The 15 wounded, injured and sick service-men and women who are undertaking this endeavour hope to inspire others to take on their own challenge and prove there is life beyond injury. ather If anyone would like to donate and leave a message of support please visit our JustGiving Page > https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/65dn or Text GRIT65 £(amount) to 70070 Every single penny of your donation will go to The Royal Marines Charity who provide through life charitable support for Royal Marines, their families, veterans and cadets.
