Team EVEREST 2019: Welcome Home!

Team EVEREST 2019: Welcome Home!

Team Everest said an emotional farewell to Namgya Sherpa and Dawa C Sherpa at Kathmandu Airport yesterday.
Two flights, and several hours later, the team landed at Heathrow Airport this morning where family, friends and Patrons had gathered to welcome them home!

It has been an incredible journey to the top of the World, which has taken 2 months to complete, and we would like to say a huge thank you for all the messages of support throughout the expedition!

Every penny raised from this epic challenge will go to The Royal Marines Charity who helped fund this project through grants for our injured Royal Marines Brendan, Joe, and Scott.
Without this vital funding and sponsorship we would not be able to offer our wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women the opportunity to participate in challenging adventures, which can play a huge part in their rehabilitation and recovery, so we would like to say a special thanks to everyone who has donated to our JustGiving Page >> https://justgiving.com/fundraising/65dn
