Peter and the team experienced challenging conditions on Day 8 of their epic journey.

Their visibility was greatly reduced due to a whiteout until around midday and the ground continually alternated between soft snow and icy patches.

Peter took another tumble on an icy patch which once again caused his prosthetic limb to detach.

‘On Ice’ team leader Richard said “The one thing that continues to inspire and motivate the team is Pete’s determination to succeed.
Seeing the pain on his face step after step, kilometre after kilometre and day after day is what drives us all on”

They completed 25km before setting up their tents for another cold night on the Ice Cap.
