World’s first unsupported crossing of the Greenland ice cap by an amputee

'Norway Training.... Camping in the Mountains'.

‘Norway Training…. Camping in the Mountains’.

The team headed for the Norwegian mountains to spend a couple of night in tents.

All their new skills were put to the test to prepare them for the Greenland crossing in May.

‘On Ice’ team doctor Meinir was able to keep a close eye on Pete’s amputated limb to gain a better understanding of how the temperature will effect it.

Prevention of injury will be key to the success of Pete’s World First Record attempt.
